The mission of Scout and Guide is to contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.The Scout and Guide movements provide a valuable addition to the formal education offered in schools.There are many areas of young peoples lives where the Scout and Guide movements can have a positive effect.  Both groups strive to develop their members emotionally, socially, mentally/intellectually, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their communities and the wider world.
